TEHRAN Cinematheque of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art admits new members for the coming Iranian year starting on March 21. According to the Cinematic Relations Department of the museum, the films selected for the third round, starting on April 4, will be screened in various sections including Manifestations of Iranian Cinema, Works of Pioneers of Cinema, Visual Arts on the Screen, Perspective of Documentary and Short Films and Studying History of the World Cinema. The Tree of Life directed by Farhad Mehranfar, The School Gone With the Wind, by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, A Simple Happening by Shahid Saales and several other selected films screened in the 17th International Fajr Film Festival will be shown during the spring term of the Cinematheque. Moreover studying works of documentarians, studying the style of a renowned French filmmaker, British Director Alfred Hitchcock and several films on the art of painting directed by Khosrow Sinaee, are other programs of the third round of Cinematheque.
